Classic Package
Three days covering Belitung properly, from the Laskar Pelangi heritage sites in the east to the lighthouse at Pulau Lengkuas and the striking Kaolin Lake. Hotel and all meals are handled.
There are many ways to visit Belitung, but few that let you actually understand it. The Classic Package is for people who want more than a beach photoshoot. Over three days, you will see three distinct sides of the island: its layered history in the east, its natural beauty on the water, and the quiet, character-filled life of its main town.
Day one takes you to Gantung in East Belitung, birthplace of Andrea Hirata's Laskar Pelangi novel, first published in 2005. You will visit the replica of SD Muhammadiyah Gantung school and the Andrea Hirata Kata Museum, a collection of quotes, manuscripts, and works from one of Indonesia's most celebrated authors. In the afternoon, the itinerary includes Vihara Dewi Kwan Im and Pantai Burung Mandi, two places that rarely appear on standard tour lists but consistently become highlights for our guests.
Day two is the centrepiece. A full day on the water through the Kelayang archipelago, lunch on Kepayang Island beneath the shade of coastal trees, snorkelling around the clear waters near Pulau Lengkuas lighthouse, and ending the afternoon at Tanjung Tinggi as the sun begins to drop. Day three is gentler before departure, with a visit to Kaolin Lake, a former kaolin mining site whose water has turned blue-green against chalk-white shores, and a final coffee at Kong Djie, a kopitiam that has been part of Tanjung Pandan since 1943.
